The National Gallery of Victoria has two magnificent galleries within one marvelous arts precinct. Stretching from the top of St Kilda Road across the Yarra River to Federation Square, this cultural heartland encompasses the transformed NGV International on St Kilda Road, The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia at Federation Square, and The Arts Centre - all just a short stroll from each other.

A whole world of international art, displaying the NGV’s collections of European, Asian, Oceanic and American Art. Since the NGV opened in St Kilda Road in 1968, the total collection has doubled in size to more than 70,000 works of art. A truly iconic Melbourne building, the gallery has been totally redesigned to house one of the most impressive collections in the Southern Hemisphere.

The superior thermal performance, longterm retained ‘R’ value, high compressive strength and continual compressive creep resistance of DOW Styrofoam SMTG™ made it the ideal choice for this major
redevelopment. The unique closed cell structure of Dow Styrofoam™ SMTG enables it to resist all form of water and moisture penetration. Dow Styrofoam™ is a thermoplastic and retreats from fire.

Dow Styrofoam Roofmate™ extruded polystyrene insulation offers a long term retained R-value, high compressive strength and superior moisture resistance for protected membrane roofing projects, making it the perfect solution wherever superior load bearing and insulating capabilities are specified.

Dow Styrofoam Roofmate™ insulation does not support mould growth, will not crumble, or decay. Dow Styrofoam Roofmate™ insulation is strong, yet light-weight and easy to fabricate into various sizes and shapes to meet your specific design requirements.
